The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam

The Affordable Art Fair is the place for original and contemporary art to fit all budgets. Its friendly environment invites first time buyers to browse amongst thousands of paintings, original prints, photography and sculpture, whilst seasoned collectors can seek out hot new artists. 87 galleries offer a wide range of art: from figurative to abstract, from traditional to avant-garde. With prices ranging from €100 to €5000, it is an art-buying opportunity that cannot be missed!

The Fair will be held from 29 October to 1 November (Private View on 28th October) at the stunning location of the 19th century gasworks, an impressive industrial monument on the Westergasfabriek terrain, close to Amsterdam Central station and easy to reach by bike, tram, car or foot from the town center.

If you ever wondered what the new wave of artists are up to, now is the perfect time to find out. Visit the ‘Ongekend Talent’ exhibition where young hot talent from the Dutch academies will show and sell their work.

Thursday night is the AAFond, a fun evening program where you can enjoy art with a nice glass of wine courtesy of our wine supplier and also support the great cause, Paint a Future, with a chance to win a great piece of art!

There are a wide range of features that make the fair a great place to meet up with friends or to bring the family. Throughout the event, there will be free workshops about art techniques, a relaxed café where you have a sandwich and digest your impressions, a wine bar, and professional, free daycare provided by SKON.
